Jacqueline Fernandez has long championed the welfare of animals through her social initiative,
YOLO Foundation. Launching a new chapter in its fundraising efforts, the actor and
philanthropist has set up a charity closet fundraiser to open new avenues for supporting animal welfare and sustainable living. Fans can now browse the extensive collection and contribute to this cause.
Jacqueline explained, “At YOLO Foundation, we believe in making giving accessible, and
connecting broadly in as many ways as possible. I’ve loved the process of sifting through some
of my favourite clothes and accessories, and imagining the new life they will have with someone else, all while helping raise funds for our furry friends.”
Pieces range from red carpet couture and performance looks to high street fashion, athleisure and limit-edition accessories.
Raksha Foundation, the charity beneficiaries of the inaugural closet sale, added: “We are
incredibly grateful to Jacqueline and YOLO for choosing to support animal welfare through this
initiative. Every contribution can make a meaningful difference to animals who need food,
medical care, shelter and protection. We hope this beautiful idea inspires more people to see
that the choices we make every day can create a positive impact far beyond ourselves.”
The collection features a diverse range of outfits, from budget to luxury, and from everyday fits
to statement pieces, curated at accessible prices. Buyers from around the world can participate
in the initiative by shopping through DolceVee.com/
Dolce Vee Founder Komal Hiranandani said, “Jacqueline has been a true style icon, and fans have been calling out for her closet sale for years. They won’t be disappointed - the collection she has put together is expansive and exquisite! We’ve seen how deeply and genuinely her passion for animals runs, so bringing her closet sale to life for this cause has been extremely rewarding.”
As part of this initiative, buyers will also be able to see estimates of their environmental
contributions. When purchased preowned over newly manufactured, Jacqueline’s collection
saves over 850 kgs of carbon 6,40,000 litres of water (estimates calculated using the Dolce Vee
Clothing Environmental Footprint Calculator, built in partnership with the Centre for Environmental Research & Education)
